» Kimbra Studios offers beautiful custom photo jewelry and accessories which capture loved ones in an heirloom piece that will be treasured for years to come. Many of the Kimbra Studios designs are exclusive, copyrighted designs and will not be found anywhere else.

Can I pay with a check or money order?

» If you are sending in your photos with your order, you can pay with personal check. Kimbra Studios mailing address will be included with your receipt from the website.

When am I charged for my order?

» Because each piece is custom made and we begin production immediately, your credit card will be authorized and charged as soon as you place your order through our website.

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

» If you go to the home page and click on the Gift Cards link box you will be taken to purchase a Gift Card.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Is your jewelry solid sterling?

» Yes. All of our jewelry is .925 solid sterling silver fine jewelry, not silver-plated. Complete cleaning instructions will accompany your purchase. Each piece is handcrafted and truly an heirloom to be treasured.

Do I put the photo(s) in myself?

» No. Kimbra Studios does all the work for you and seals each piece so that you have a beautiful, heirloom piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime.

Can I get the photo wet?

» Yes. Kimbra Studios jewelry is made to last a lifetime. You can wear your jewelry in the shower, doing dishes, swimming. We do suggest not spraying hairspray, perfumes or sunscreens on the jewelry.

Can you send me a blank piece of jewelry?

» All of our designs are exclusively made for Kimbra Studios and most are copyrighted designs. We do not sell pieces blank.

How do I care for or keep my jewelry clean?

» We offer Sterling Polishing Cloths through the website, these are a great way to polish up your piece. Jewelry can be soaked in a phosphate free dishwashing detergent. Appropriate storing of jewelry is very important and care instructions are included with your piece.

How does my order come packaged?

» Our jewelry arrives in a plastic polybag with a tarnish tab inside a black satin pouch. The pouch is inside a white pillow box with the Kimbra Studios logo on the front. Our accessories arrive in a white pillow box with the Kimbra Studios logo on the front.

PHOTO QUESTIONS

How do I get my photo to you?

» You can upload right through the website where you can also manipulate your photo by cropping it and changing the color options.

Can you use a professional photograph?

» We work with many professional photography studios. If yours is not one of them, we can send them a Copyright Release form to sign.

Can you remove or move around objects in a photo or use multiple photos?

» There is a special instructions area of the Kimbra Studios website. Please be very specific in writing what you want your photo to look like. This may result in a Retouching Service fee of $20.00.

Can I see my image cropped?

» If you are uploading you images, you will have the opportunity to crop your images and proof them on the jewelry on your screen. If you are mailing your images to us you may request to see your image cropped and we will forward a cropped image to you for approval. Simply request to see a proof when you are mailing in your picture. (Make sure to include an email address so that we can email you the image)

Can my image be changed from Color to Sepia or Black and White?

» If you are uploading you images you will have the opportunity to edit your image and change the color of your picture to black and white, sepia and several other color effects. If you are mailing your images to us you may request that we change your image to Black and White and we will edit the image at no charge.

Will my photos look exactly as they appear on my computer?

» Because of the differences in computer screens and due to the nature of printing processes, we do not guarantee exact color matching. We watch our processes very closely and strive to offer you the best quality available.

What type of image file do I need to send?

» All images should be at least 3" to 6" in size. If you have a digital image, please upload the photo as a .jpg file. Make sure the image is saved at a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels or more. The file size should be a minimum of 200KB and a maximum of 2MB. A minimum 2 Mega pixel digital camera is required.

If you would prefer to send something by mail, your photo(s) will be returned to you; however, we cannot be responsible for photos that are damaged or lost. You can use our Printable Order Form and send along with your photo(s) to:

If you already have an image on your Windows computer:

» Open "My Computer".

» Find the image you want to use.

» Set your mouse pointer on the image, click the RIGHT mouse button once, and release. A small menu will appear.

» Set your mouse pointer at the bottom of the menu on Properties (It will highlight), click the LEFT mouse button once, and release. A new screen will pop up.

» You should see several tabs across the top of the page. One of them will say Summary. Click it.

» You should see a list of image properties. Width is the image width in pixels, and Height is the image height in pixels.

RETURN POLICY

What is the return policy?

» All products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from shipment. If you need to return a product, please send an e-mail to . Appropriate storing of jewelry is very important and care instructions are included with your piece.

Do you have any kind of customer satisfaction guarantee?

» If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days and we will remake it (same product, same image) at no additional cost.

What is your cancellation policy?

» We immediately begin processing your order. Because of the custom nature of our products, orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed.

ORDER STATUS & SHIPPING INFORMATION

Can you update me on the status of my order?

» In order to check on the status of your order, log in and go to your account. Click on the "View Orders" tab, you will see all the orders that you have placed and the status of each order. If you have further questions you can email and someone will get back with you within 24 hours.

How are Kimbra Studios orders delivered?

» All domestic orders are sent to the address you specify via FedEx Ground except for PO Box addresses.

How long will it take to receive my order?

» Your customized Kimbra Studios order will take approximately 10-15 business days to be completed and shipped. Orders cannot be processed until all information is received with the photograph/digital image.

Can I have my order rushed through production?

» There is a $20.00 fee to have your order rushed through production. Please indicate in the comments section that you would like to order rushed production and mention your deadline. We will add the $20.00 fee to your total.

 

What are the shipping and handling costs?

» $9.95 FedEx Ground - 10-15 business days from receipt of order and photos
» $24.95 FedEx 2 Day - 10-15 business days from receipt of order and photos

Can a finished Kimbra Studios order be delivered to someone else?

» Yes. We ask you for the shipping and billing address. We will not contact the recipient in any way.

How will I know when my order ships?

» We will e-mail you a shipping confirmation when your order ships. If tracking service is available, we include the Tracking number in your Shipping Confirmation e-mail.

Who do I contact if I am having a problem with my order?

Did my order go through?

» If your order has successfully been entered, you will receive an email confirmation shortly thereafter.

What do I do if I am having technical difficulty downloading images?

Do you offer wholesale or reseller pricing?

Do you offer a photographer discount program?

» Kimbra Studios does have a professional photographer discount program. If you are interested in applying, please click on the wholesale program link at the bottom of the page. If you have specific questions about the program, please e-mail .

Do you offer a sample Studio Display?

» Yes. You can customize your Studio Display to complement your photography and fit your clientele. We offer a one time Studio Display at 50% off our regular retail prices. The minimum for this initial order is $500 retail, $250 after discount. You supply us with your own images, which enables you to wear beautiful jewelry and advertise your business at the same time! We also offer jewelry displays to showcase the pieces in your studio.

Do you allow photographers to increase suggested retail price on products?

» When you receive your studio display, you will receive 10 wholesale brochures. These brochures look exactly like our retail brochures, except they do not show pricing. If you need to order additional brochures, they are available in quantities of 50 at a price of $10.00 per 50.

Do I have to order a studio display?

» We do require wholesalers and professional photographers who want to receive the discount on our products to purchase the studio display.

Are there minimums on orders?

» After you have purchased your studio display, there are no minimums orders.

What are your wholesale prices?

» Our wholesale price list will be sent to you with your Display Kit. Wholesale discounts range from 30 - 50% depending on annual sales volume.

Do I have to charge my customers your suggested retail prices?

» Many studios mark up pricing due to photography copyrights and time spent manipulating photo files.

What happens after I have filled out the Inquiry Form?

» In approximately 1-2 days you will be contacted by a studio representative who will answer any questions you have and will send you the appropriate paperwork needed to move forward with ordering your Studio Display.

How are orders placed?

Our new website enables you to upload your photos and see them in the piece, crop them, change color, rotate, anything you can imagine! Uploading photos through the site is definitely the best way to get them to us.

» Because each piece is made specifically for you, we do not offer refunds. We will, however, work with you to correct any issue that is problematic because of an error on our part. We do guarantee against any defects in the products for the first 30 days. Appropriate storing of jewelry is very important and care instructions are included with your piece.

What is your turnaround?

» If you choose Regular Shipping, turnaround is approximately 10-15 business days from when we receive your order and photo(s). If you would like to rush production there is a $20 fee. Please request a rush through the comments section of your order.

Do you ship internationally?

» Yes, We do. Rates vary depending on the country.

What is the best file format, resolution and image size?

» We strongly recommend .jpg files that have a width or height of no larger than 6" with a resolution of 300 dpi. If you are working with pixels, this translates to 1800 pixels with a resolution of 300 dpi.
