Kimbra Studios, the industry leader in custom photo jewelry and accessories was established in 1999 as My Life Designs. Founder Kimbra Orr was the original designer of custom photo jewelry and began with the production of photo charm bracelets and cufflinks in the basement of her home. Today Kimbra Studios remains the leader in custom photo jewelry design, now the business is located in a renovated studio in Downtown Littleton, Colorado. The studio exudes the same rare combination of contemporary style paired with treasured keepsakes as her photo jewelry and accessories.

Kimbra started the business after seeing a locket that she loved, but questioned why we always hide photos under a locket. She felt that great memories should be shown off and shared. Kimbra began designing charms and wanted to offer a quality product that would make each piece an heirloom that would be treasured for years. She began experimenting with all types of sealants trying to find one that would be airtight, waterproof and would last a lifetime without damaging the photo or piece. When she discovered/created her patented sealant, the hard part was over and she got to really enjoy herself creating designs that are unique and compelling.

My Life Designs reached a huge milestone in 2003 when the Wall Street Journal selected their jewelry as Best Overall and Best Value. Since that time other artisans have tried to recreate her idea but none match the quality, customer service and design selection that Kimbra Studios offers.
